Part One: West Highland Way

I finally finished my dissertation! In celebration I went to Scotland (with Jonny) to do the West Highland Way. The West Highland Way is a 96 mile walk that passes through the Scottish rolling hills and mountains. You can stop in tiny towns along the way to sleep, eat, and drink! Here are pictures from the first half of the trip. We were suppose to do 20 miles a day, however that did not happen.
We took an overnight sleeper bus into Glasgow.
 The start of the trail.
 A Scotsman.

 My pee tree.

At mile 10 (about) and dying...
The top of Conic Hill. It felt more like a huge mountain.
View from the first hotel in Balmaha.
On the ferry to the next town, Luss.

The second town, Luss. This place was so pretty and had the best hotel I had ever stayed in. More pictures to follow.
