Hackney day.

This morning Caroline and I decided to meet up in East London at The Breakfast Club then head over to the flower market in Hackney. This intended to be a quick morning excursion but ended up a day of graveyards, museums, and exploring!

The best green eggs and ham EVER (as you can tell - they're all gone...)

The flower market full of Christmas trees, street food and flowers!

Weird fox man in window...

Sweet Caroline!

Englishmen playing some folk music, what more could I ask for?!?

The Geffrye Museum. This exhibit was full of living rooms of England's past. All the way from the Victorian era to current day.

The entrance of the most amazingly beautiful graveyard ever. It was a perfectly grey London day for this.

I got my eyes tested after 8 years and yes, I need glasses.

Oh how time flies!

The last couple of weeks have flown by. I turned in the first of my course work, started my new job, and have begun to leave the house and explore London. Here are just a few things that I have been up to:

drank many cappuccinos at Megan's, my favorite coffee shop in West London.

More walks in Hyde Park

Made friends with fellow Librarians: Jonathan and Caroline

Had an amazing Halloween in East London

And finally, I got to see Laura Marling play the first show of her Cathedral Tour.  It made me ready for winter,  big fluffy scarves, and hot Pimms.
