Dear DEAR blog followers (mum, Becci) I have decided to redesign/reconstruct/re-conceptualize/ REDO how I go about blogging. For this, I have decided to abandon this blog for awhile until I come up with something better and more interesting for myself. So without further ado, I say bon voyage DEAR blog. Im really into quotes right now, they make me feel better

So often we try to make other people feel better by minimizing their pain, by telling them that it will get better (which it will) or that there are worse things in the world (which there are). But that’s not what I actually needed. What I actually needed was for someone to tell me that it hurt because it mattered. I have found this very useful to think about over the years, and I find that it is a lot easier and more bearable to be sad when you aren’t constantly berating yourself for being sad.

The worst loneliness is to not be comfortable with yourself.

I don’t believe in love at first sight but I do believe in seeing someone from across the room and knowing instantly that they’re going to matter to you. They’re going to play a major role in your life.

Maybe time didn’t heal wounds exactly, but it gave you a kind of armor, or a new perspective. A way to remember with a smile instead of a sob.

Happy Christmas

 Well, despite missing my family SO much I had a great time in Norfolk for Christmas. We took the first class train to Jonny's mom's house which is the best. Its a converted barn and there are chickens, and cute cats, clean air, peace and quite.

We read, ate so much food, had dance parties, watched weird British comedies like Merida (who is the best, seriously watch her).
